I love BBQ chicken! But I'm not a fan of bread so I don't make pizzas, calzones, scones, or biscuits very often. I remember when my mom used to make pizza bread for my dad on football Sundays, before we even heard the word calzone. This recipe reminded me of those days, even though there wasn't any football this time. These calzones are really good, I will add a little more BBQ sauce next time....we like our sauces! These would be great for Super Bowl Sunday =)

1 can (16oz) Pillsbury Grand's Homestyle Biscuit dough
1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup chopped green onions
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, mix together the cooked chicken and barbecue sauce.
Remove biscuit dough from can. Take one dough piece and lay out on a clean surface. Roll out flat into a 6 inch circle. Repeat with all dough circles.
In the center of a flattened dough circle, place 1/4 cup of barbecue chicken. Top with desired amount of red onion, bacon, and mozzarella. Take another dough circle and place over the top. Seal the edges by pressing them together. I also used a fork and gently pressed all around the edges. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough. You will have 4 calzones total.
Bake for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown.

Hi Kristina! It's been ages since I've visited. I've been so out of touch in this past year. Anyhow, these look so yummy! I love anything chicken and sauces - well let's just say I don't eat much that doesn't come with a sauce. Lol. Great recipe!
These look AMAZING but I'm not sure they're in my diet. Ha!
