2011 Bookish Stats

2011 proved to be yet another year where I signed up for entirely too many challenges and didn't finish them.  However I did try out a numbers challenge on Goodreads....and I finished it!  So that feels good =)  Here are the numbers this year....

What I've learned this year is that I have a happy medium idea on how many pages my books should have.  I think most of my reads had right around 300 pages.  I've also learned that I am in desperate need of some classics in my life.  I'm very happy with the fact that I read 2 more non-fiction/biography books than I did last year, but I will still shoot for more!  I'm surprised that I read just as many new authors again this year.  So I have a comfortable area in which I read or choose my books. My goals for next year are to read more classics, complete more challenges by entering into less of them, and finish the series I started instead of starting more.
